See Our Equipment in Action

When you’re in the market for a new machine to add to your production line, it’s ideal to see it in action before it’s delivered or incorporated into your line.

With Pack Leader USA you can!

We offer Factory Acceptance Tests for all of our labeling, filling, and capping equipment. They’re not training sessions, but like a test drive — a way to see the equipment in action before it’s delivered to your warehouse or shop.

What is a Factory Acceptance Test?

A Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is a process that evaluates equipment and verifies that it’s built and operating in accordance with design specifications.

5-Successful-Tips-on-Choosing-the-Right-Labeling-Equipment-Company

Our FATs allow potential customers to see firsthand how the equipment they're interested in works, if it meets production requirements, and how it applies quality control guidelines.

A FAT includes coming to our facility, exploring the equipment with a salesperson and equipment tech for 1-1.5 days, and running product samples. If there is more than one product, we’ll demonstrate how changeovers function.

For in-depth, hands-on training related to your specific machine, we recommend our Start-Up and Training package as an add-on to your equipment purchase.

Who benefits from Factory Acceptance Tests?

Both potential customers and Pack Leader USA distributors can benefit from a FAT.

Customers - Our FATs allow customers to see how the equipment they’re buying works and runs their product. FATs cost $500 for a half-day, $1,000 for a full day, and $1,500 for two days.

Pack Leader USA Distributors - FATs are ideal for distributors who sell Pack Leader USA equipment. It allows them to see each machine and watch how they function. FATs for Pack Leader USA distributors are free, but if a client comes along, the client will be charged the FAT program fee.

How do I schedule a Factory Acceptance Test?

Scheduling up your FAT is as simple as 1-2-3.

  1. Submit product container(s) and label(s) samples.
  2. Submit your down payment and set a date for your equipment delivery.
  3. Schedule a time to come into the Pack Leader USA facility for your FAT.

FATs are beneficial not only for distributors and potential buyers but for us as well. It’s important to us that our equipment meets all the contractual specifications and that any issues are addressed before the equipment arrives at its destination. Our goal is to help, support, and set up your company for success.
